X RAY OF MY ANKLE. ITS NOT BROKEN!
So I got my ankle x-rayed today, since I really thought that it could be broken. I was surprised and relieved that it was not broken! But still frustrated b/c it hurts like a b and keeps me up at night. So now i have to go to the orthopedic, and possibly get an MRI to see if i tore a muscle or tendon. if i tore a tendon, surgery would be needed. yikes. Here's what the doc said about the x-rays:
FINDINGS: There is significant soft tissue swelling adjacent to the medial malleolus. Underlying fracture or avulsion abnormality is seen. There is slight irregularity of the base of the fifth metatarsal without evidence of fracture. Additionally, a small plantar spur is noted.
IMPRESSION: Soft tissue swelling adjacent to the medial malleolus suggests underlying tissue injury. If pain persists for patient MRI may be of some value.

Listen up
Listen up Bush:
But the Iranian president's style is to dissect what he sees as American logic, by posing question after question to make his point.
If billions of dollars spent on security, military campaigns and troop movement were instead spent on issues including health and aid to the poor, he wrote, "would there have been an ever increasing global hatred of the American governments?"

why...
why u wanna kill?
has yo mind gone ill?
you don't know how it feels
to barely afford a meal
or have tanks with big wheels
come rollin down your hills
while you sit at home and chill
and count up all your mill$
you just tryin to steal
some land to place dem drills
and make some more deals
y don'tchu you take all those bill$
save some people that are ill
if u really wanna make them free
u will show them some peace

my brain
this is an actual picture of my brain. I got these images while doing an fMRI experiment. I was put inside a huge superconducting magnet, and it was able to take these images of my brain while measuring the activity inside. Such an inrticate organ I am amazed by the things the brain can do. Such a powerful tool that controls our mind, mood and behavior.
the brain blows my mind,
aborbs knowledge of all kinds,
the frame around our rhymes,
the main organ of mine,
like a bottle of fine wine,
grows in value with time,
creates our feelings and moods,
the source of how we improve
controls our speech and our moves,
reveals the tastes in our food,
packed wit vessels and membranes,
causes some to go insane,
tells us where we are in pain,
provides the memory to play games,
has to sleep just to maintain,
you amaze me my brain.

a blog before my brain rests...
crazy game tonight ... i could have closed the game out in regulation, but i only made 1 of 2 freethrows. so we went into overtime. in overtime we were down 2 with 30 seconds left... i'm wide open so i shoot a 3, clank, of the front rim... dunn gets the rebound and kicks it to me again for a open 3, clank, off the back rim... eugene gets the rebound and the ball is swung back to me with 8 seconds, i shoot my 3rd three in a 20 second span, with wobbly tired legs...3rd times a charm, swish! i shot 3 3's in the last 30 seconds, and isn't it ironic that i also scored 33 points in the game? crazy game tonight... time to rest my brain before work tomorrow... peace in the middle east pleease (note: this pic isn't from tonights game but thats me shootin tha tre)
